‘6.5 per Meter’ to compete at Venice Filmfest

‘6.5 per Meter’ is to go on screen at the 76th Venice Int'l Film Festival.

Fajr award-winning film ‘6.5 per Meter’ is scheduled to go on screen at the 76th Venice International Film Festival.

The 135-min movie, directed by Saeed Roustaee, will be screened at theOrizzonti’ competition section of the event.

The line-up has been announced during a press conference on Thursday July 25th at the Cinema Moderno in Rome.

The Orizzonti section is an international competition reserved for a maximum of 18 films, dedicated to films that represent the latest aesthetic and expressive trends in international cinema, with special attention to debut films.

‘6.5 per Meter’ is a social drama that deals with the issue of drug taking and addiction.

Some of the cast members are Navid Mohammadzadeh, Amir Jadidi, Parinaz Izadyar and internationally celebrated actor Peyman Maadi.

The upcoming edition of the festival will be held on August 28-Septemer 7, 2019.
